1. Simulations stay on your machine

Every run happens in your browser. The scenario you build, the levers you pull and the results you get are not sent to any server unless you explicitly press save.

2. What is stored when you save

A saved scenario stores its name, its levers and its run settings against your account. A saved run stores the summary of the result. Both live in this site's own database.

3. Company files

Files uploaded in the Company tab while signed in are stored against your account on this site, rebuilt from the columns each kind of file allows and capped at two megabytes. Signed out, they stay in your own browser. One control deletes all of them.

4. Written answers from the analyst

If you ask for a written answer, the question and the evidence rows it is written from are sent to the configured model provider. The rows can include lines about your company; the files themselves are never sent.

5. Kept analyses

If you keep an analyst answer while signed in, its question, steps, evidence rows, conclusions and any written up version are stored against your account on this site, fifty at most and a megabyte in all. Signed out, they stay in your own browser. Either way one control deletes each of them.

6. Shared with the team

An analysis you share with the team is stored on this site with your display name and can be read by everyone allowed to save work here. Company files an administrator publishes to the team can be read by the same people. A saved scenario you share can be read by everyone who may use the simulator. Each can be taken back.

7. Watches

A kept analysis keeps the countries it watches and what the live desk read for them when it was kept. The watch is checked in your browser against the desk and sends nothing anywhere.

8. Accounts

If you create an account, the site stores your username, your email address and your password in hashed form, through WordPress's own user system.

9. Contact messages

A message sent through the contact form is stored on this site and emailed to the operator. It is used to reply to you and nothing else.

10. Written briefings

If you request a written briefing, the numbers from that run and the scenario description are sent to the configured model provider to generate the text. No account details are included.

11. Live data

The site fetches exchange rates, earthquake data and weather from open sources on its own schedule. Those requests come from the server, not from your browser, so they carry nothing about you.

12. Cookies

WordPress sets a session cookie when you sign in. The simulator itself sets none.

13. Your data

Ask and your account, saved scenarios and messages will be deleted.
