1. What this service is

Futurisca is a simulation tool. It produces modelled scenarios, not forecasts, predictions, advice or guarantees about the future. Output is generated by a mathematical model from estimated starting data and stated assumptions.

2. Not advice

Nothing produced by this site is financial, investment, legal, policy or professional advice. Do not make a decision that matters on the strength of a simulation alone, from this tool or any other.

3. Accuracy

The baseline data mixes curated figures with values patterned from regional structure, and each row is marked accordingly. Model parameters are drawn from priors that are judgements. Errors in the starting state carry through every year of a run. No warranty of accuracy is given or implied.

4. Using the output

You may use output from the simulator, including in commercial work, provided you present it as a simulation with its stated uncertainty rather than as a prediction, and you do not attribute to it a certainty it does not claim.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Accounts may be suspended for abuse, for attempts to disrupt the service, or for automated scraping that degrades it for others.

6. Availability

The service is provided as it is. It may change, break or stop. Saved scenarios should not be your only copy of anything that matters.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site or reliance on its output.

8. Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be noted on the page that records what changed.
